What is PokeMap US?

PokeMap US helps Pokémon Trading Card Game fans across the United States find three categories of physical locations on a single map:

• Local TCG Shops — independent hobby and card shops that carry Pokémon TCG products.
• Pokémon Vending Machines — the official Pokémon TCG vending machines deployed across the country.
• Retail Chains — big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, GameStop) that stock Pokémon TCG sealed product.

The map only displays our own database — coordinates and details we have collected and verified. The Open in Maps / Directions buttons open Google Maps in a new tab for navigation; we do not embed the Google Maps JS API or Google Places API in the app itself.

How we build the data

We seed the map from public sources — for example, the official Pokémon Center Support state listings for vending machines, and OpenStreetMap (Overpass API) candidates for local hobby shops — and then publish each record after manual review. You can suggest a new location or a correction from any location detail panel.
